The beautiful country is located in the Balkans and borders directly on the Adriatic Sea, which is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts with its crystal-clear water and beautiful beaches.
Explore Croatia by motorcycle and experience the breathtaking landscape!
Miles of coastal beaches along the world-famous Jadranska Magistrala, lined with breathtaking views of the blue Adriatic. Add to this delicious food, cultural highlights, a rich history and vibrant cities such as Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik. All this makes this country one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe, south of the Alps.
Balkan by motorcycle
The Balkan Peninsula, also known as the Balkans for short, often used synonymously with south-eastern Europe, juts out into the Mediterranean and is named after the Balkan Mountains. However, the largest state on the peninsula is Greece, followed by Bulgaria (where most of the Balkan Mountains are located), Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo. The national territories of Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey, which are part of the Balkans through their Thracian provinces, extend far beyond the classic borders of the Balkan Peninsula.
The Dinarides are the impressive mountain range that dominates the western part of the Balkan Peninsula. The highest peak in the Dinarides is Jezerca (2694 m) in Albania. However, the highest peak in the Balkans is Musala (2925 m) in the Rila Mountains. The Balkan Mountains themselves reach a maximum summit height of 2376 m - a real highlight!
This part of Europe is culturally and linguistically very diverse. At its core, the term "Balkans" encompasses those European states that were shaped by their affiliation with Byzantium and later the Ottoman Empire.
And all these words are just to tell you a little more about the Balkans themselves.
Because together, these countries offer endless possibilities for a varied motorcycle trip.
So if you want to enjoy the incomparable feeling of freedom for a few days or weeks in the Balkans and especially in Croatia, you can rent a motorcycle locally.

If you are traveling to Split by plane or car, we have the following BMW models available that will make your heartbeat faster:
BMW F750GS, BMW F850GS, BMW R1250GS and the BMW R1300GS.
All motorcycles are available in different seat heights so that you can choose the perfect seating position. The R1300GS naturally has the optional adaptive motorcycle height adjustment, which reduces the seat height from 850 to 820 mm when stationary - for example at traffic lights or when manoeuvring. And that's not all! With an additional lower seat, the seat height can even be reduced to 800 mm.
This means we can meet all requirements in terms of seat height. And the best thing about it: this applies to all motorcycles in our BMW fleet!
